ClonewatchBot

If you saw ClonewatchBot in your logs: we check websites that may be impersonating a brand our customers own. We read the home page, the public product list (/products.json on Shopify stores) and registration records, a few times a week at most per site.

We don't log in, fill in forms, buy anything or follow links beyond those pages.

If your site was checked and you sell genuine products with permission, nothing happens: a finding needs strong evidence, and a person reviews it before any request is sent. Questions or disputes: support@ballmac.com.
